Where is it written that vegans cannot eat this typical dessert? The vegan version has a simply excellent result and you don’t feel the difference from the classic ones, in fact they will be better in their lightness!

Ingredients for the first version:

  • Flour Type 00 oz 9.
  • Two tablespoons of sugar (I use raw cane sugar).
  • Liqueur to taste, 2 cups abundant.
  • Yeast oz 0,4.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • Oil for frying (heavy).
  • Powdered sugar.

Preparation (same for the two proposals):

We put all the ingredients in the planetary (or in a bowl for the handwork) and mix everything until we get a nice hard dough. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes.

 

We proceed by spreading the dough with a rolling pin until you get a sheet end (what the end depends on our tastes). For Those Who have a pasta machine you can help by forming thin pettole to taste (I arrive at # 5, while and achieving very fragrant result).
